The Hickory Wind Band
Deb & The Hickory Wind Band plays modern top 40 hits and some old-time classics of well known artists that represents the best story-telling music in the world. It is our purpose to perform this great music "Live and Local", in the tradition of all the great artists that created it and to whom we are all indebted. Deborah Lyn studied at Belmont University School of Music Business in Nashville right near Music Row. Her focus on music/artist management, marketing and promotions, sound, recording, stage and of course vocals has opened many doors to live music entertainment through out her musical career!
Whether it be dining entertainment, line dancing, two-stepping, cowboy Cha-cha, waltz, or swing dancing, we've been keeping audiences on their feet for more than a decade. Deborah Lyn & Hickory Wind have been playing in Southern California at festivals, fund raisers, military events, fairgrounds and horse races, as well as private and corporate events. We offer a graceful blend of modern & classic country, pop and rock tunes all with a touch of the NEW Nashville sound!

Great job
It was a pleasure having Deb & The Hickory Wind Band perform at the 56th Annual Borrego Days Desert Festival. We are an outdoor event and the music kept the festival atmosphere going. I'll be calling on Deb and the band to perform at more events in Borrego Springs.

Great music and really connected with the crowd!!!
What a fun day at the 2022 Borrego Days Desert Festival. There was so much to do from food vendors, an antique car show, a kids' play area to live music. I helped out with setting up and mixing the sound for Deb Shepard and The Hickory Wind Band. We had a blast and the band was so easy to work with and was completely welcomed by over 1,500 people at the festival. People were up dancing, singing along with the music and clapping for this high energy performance. Deb and HWB put on a great performance. I hope we can work together again and we hope to see them back soon in Borrego.
